What is the RISE Mentorship Program?


RISE stands for Redefining Individual Skills & Education and is a Mentorship Program based in the Short Term Insurance Industry by pairing a Mentee with a Mentor over a nine-month program led by Linda Coetzee and Associates.


The program is facilitated by Linda Coetzee, who is a registered COMENSA Coach with more than 24 years in the field of human development, and Jenna Coetzee, whose passion is rooted in creativity and problem-solving, where her BA Degree in Psychology is advantageous.


This interactive program includes a formal launch and pairing process, monthly meetings between mentors and mentees, two or three group feedback and learning sessions, and fun group hikes. It culminates in presentations and formal graduation. It is rich in learning and networking and opens up a world of new opportunities.


Who can be a Mentor?


Anyone currently working in the Short Term Insurance Industry who has more than 10 years of experience in the Industry and is at a mid-senior level in their career.


The most important requirement for a Mentor is to have a passion to give back to the Industry by shaping future industry leaders.


Who can be a Mentee?


If you are an ambitious go-getter working in the Short-Term Insurance Industry under 35 years you can apply.

There are many benefits of being a RISE Mentee! You will be learning directly from a Mentor that started from where you currently are. It will open you up to a Network of professionals and like-minded colleagues where you can increase your exposure in the industry and gain valuable insights, career advice, and career growth opportunities. You will develop soft skills such as etiquette, people skills, and public speaking as well as develop your personal brand.
